yes, you can swap the C6 out for an AOD or E4OD use the E4OD trans, you will have to add the trans control computer. and remember, the transmissions are engine specific. only a diesel trans will fit on your diesel engine.

is it possible to upgrade a 92 Ford V-8 Diesel Truck 3 Speed Automatic Transmission with a 4 Speed Automatic Transmission ... just swap it out and go. I want to increase fuel mileage by having the engine tack lower with a better gear combination available for use.
