I am looking for a way to hook up a portable cd player to ford 5000 radio. It has the possibility to connect a cd-changer. Is there someone who has the wiring and maybe the schematics for this car radio.

This isn't quite what you asked, but you can get an FM modulator which plugs into the earphones jack on the portable CD player and broadcasts through your car radio. No wiring needed. Figure about $25.00 and don't forget to turn it off when you turn off the player. I recommend rechargeable batteries and always keep charged-up spares with you.
