I have recently bought a 1999 T reg Focus Ghia 1.8. I am very pleased with the car but the remote boot unlock does not work on the key fob or via the button on the dashboard. It works fine when unlocked via the key. The relay in the car can be heard firing whrn the unlock is activated so that is probably fine. What may be the cause of this could it be a faulty lock or just a dodgy connection. Any help would be appreciated.
