I started to remove the dash then fear set in. The part of the dash that needs to be removed surrounds the instrument cluster (odometer, fuel guage, etc). How do I pull it off? Jim

In an earlier post, someone said to first remove the radio, then two screws inside the compartment behind the radio, then the fascia will "pop" off. Haven't tried it myself.

A large screwdriver, a pair of vice grips and a hammer.
I don't have it in front of me, but I've pulled that area off a couple of times. I don't think there are any screws holding it, I'm not sure about the factory radio since I removed mine a couple of years ago. I believe it is all clips, though; shouldn't be a problem.
Why would you remove the dash on a 2003 F250 in the first place ? . It should be all covered from Ford unless you got it at a junk yard some place . I do not understand why you need to know how to do this job . Fox .
I want to install a Westach type guage for egt and or boost. This guage will be installed just below the vent, which is to the left of the stereo. I have seen photos of the install and it looks very clean.
