2004 F150

Does anyone have the 'dreaded vibration' in their steering, braking or the whole truck? The Ford dealer here has tried several fixes but none worked- -new tires and wheels, road force balance, new driveshaft, dampeners on body mounts. . . . . Anyone out there with any luck better than mine?? teecee

Look here and see if you find anything. Mine runs perfectly smooth.

two-piece driveshaft ?

if so, there is an 'updated' bracket for the center carrier bearing

Mine is a 4x4 automatic with 18 inch tires and wheels. It has never had any balance issues. I wonder if there is a specific truck configuration that is more likely to have this problem?

Is it speed dependent?

If you can't find it, get someone to take a video of the truck while it is moving to see if anything shows up.
