89 F-150 No headlights,radio,cruise

I would say check the owners manual and see if any of the fuses show as being responsible for those things. Since they are all electrical failures, I would guess first a fuse, and there might be more than one possibility.

If it isn't that, maybe there is a ground wire off somewhere, maybe a bad junction or switch. Do you have the capability to do electrical troubleshooting?

First thing I would do, if all the fuses are good. Take a reliable DVM (Digital Volt Meter) and check all the fusible links that connect to the starter solenoid. This is where most of your power comes from for the fuse panel and such. What you want to do is just stick the red probe through the insulator (only if you cant find a connector on that wire) and ground the black probe and see if you have voltage. If you do, continue checking all the fusible links. This can also be done with a test light as well, but I dont own one, and probably never will again. I love my DVM, and you can do so much more with a DVM. If all that checks out, then take your DVM and start checking for power at the fuse box. Do this by checking across the fuse for the suspect circuits. If all checks out there, then check the main power in for the lights (is this only the headlights, or all the lights?), and then the radio, and then the cruise. IF all that checks out, I would say you have a bad ground.
