recently bought a 96 Ranger with 2.3 engine, 5 speed ......Autozone lists and I bought a new PCV Valve and
can't see where it is on the engine to replace.....

autozone.com has a parts locator... no listing there?
The PCV is an "in-line" type, located in the breather hose which you will find on the driver's side at the rear of the engine. Follow the hose carefully and you will see the break where the valve is located.
