Just got this van , noticed hesitation in it at cruising speeds - as if its missing ocassionally. Is that inherent with this engine (3.4) or is something wrong??? Van has 120 K on it. Acceleration is fine. Thanks

No, it should not do that. I don't know the cause, but this does not sound normal.
