Hi, newbie to this site. Am needing help with 1991 Geo Metro LSI automatic transmission. While driving, it downshifted to 2nd, then shifted back to drive. Drove home and parked. Tried to leave later and no reverse. Determined that 2nd and reverse are non operative. Vehicle will drive forward shift to 2nd and will not engage 2nd gear, but will slowly shift to 3rd. Can anyone help? Thanks, Bill

I don't know if that tranny uses shift solenoids like the rest of the GM family, but it's worth having that checked out. Oh hell - it's a '91 - you've got the perfect excuse to step up to a new model.
