I depends what is meant by "soon". Maybe in another 10 years the Chinese will have a car worth buying. As of now, they have serious problems with quality and emissions control.

It will be a solid 15 years before the communist produce a car that's at the level of today's Hyundai. Remember what the Nissans and Hondas were like?
