Another use for WD-40

WD-40 used to use propane as a propellant. This was changed to CO2 a while back, after several customers had incinerated themselves.

WD-40 is an excellent cutting fuid for machining, drilling, sawing, etc on aluminum.

This is true, but it's a lot more expensive than other equally effective alternatives, like kerosene, mineral spirits paint thinner, or even motor oil.

I paid $11 for a gallon last week. It's easier to clean up than kerosene or oil all over the mill and floor, and a bit less flammable then Stoddard solvent.
