My local dealer is $4 cheaper than Jiffy Lube. Generally faster as well. And can be bribed to use synth blend or pure synth.

Local Mazda dealer did a brake job and left the lugnuts loose on right front wheel on an RX7. They began loosening and quickly began vibrating like everything as brakes were being applied. The wheel came off at about 55 on the way down to stopping... and the vehicle removed the lower half of the new brake rotor very nicely as it came to a stop. The dealer was offended I called an attorney before calling them--even though it may have saved their mechanic's life.

LOL!

The nearest one here screwed my oil filter on so tight it took a buddy and me over an hour to peel it off, piece-by-piece, with the pump cover removed. We damaged the oil pressure sending unit in the process of driving the cold chisels into the filter (and screwdrivers, and...) A mechanic friend said Jiffy Lube trains them to install filters with a wrench like that. Duhhh...
