I paid $22 each at the dealer to replace the ones for my 92 YJ with factory full-steel doors. Weatherstripping seems to be one of those things that isn't much cheaper (if not more expensive) online...

There's two on yours? I mean that strip of foam rubber that runs across the bottom of the windshield frame on top of the cowl. You lower the windshield to get at it. Anyway thanks, if it's around 22 bucks then I'll save some time and shipping costs and pick it up myself.

FWIW, I replaced the cowl seal on my '94 YJ this year with a dealer-sourced part number. It's about the same quality as the one I got from 4wd Hardware for my '76 CJ5 resto project Jeep. It did not fit well and it leaks a bit under high pressure washing. The old one was fairly well used up, starting to deteriorate from age, so I installed the new one anyway.

Whoops. Must have spent too much time with the carburetor cleaner over the weekend and misunderstood you. Sorry about that. I also have to retract my statement for dealer vs. online parts. I was thinking about the door glass weatherstripping, which I got at the dealer for $22 but for some reason is at least $35 online, no matter where I have looked. However, as I'm looking to replace the liftgate seal I'm finding out that the dealer wants $80, when it's sold for about $40 online! Guess there's no rule of thumb...

I'm probably going to need to do what you're doing in the near future. Post back what price you end up getting from the dealer.

Yeah Tellico's the cheapest I've found yet, I haven't looked but they're probably charging 5 bucks for shipping anything over 25 bucks with their flat rate scheme so I probably wont be ordering it from them. I'll stop at "Joe Jacoby Jeep Crysler" near me and see what they want here in the next few days; and post the price.

My experience with them is that will get every penny, plus more, from you. Might be a little farther then you want to go, but if the price is right... Brady-Bushey Ford/Jeep in Charlottesville (434-977-7960).

I had to buy some things from them because they were not available outside of a dealer. The prices were 30-40% lower then what my brother could find in No. Va.

One of the best of my cherished Hogs!! As big as a monster Joe looked on the field, I was surprised by how much more of a human size he looked in person.

I wouldn't go so far as saying gouging, but they charge retail, with no coming down.

I don't know man, I'm average height but Joe's pushing somewhere near 7 foot tall... 6'9 maybe... Anyway still looks gigantic to me. I'm a skins fan too, the hogs (including Riggo, what was it the "7th hog"?) are some of my favorite sports fan memories.

I forgot I was going to report back the price I got at the dealer for this bit. Turns out the dealer price is 22 bucks, which is 8 to 18 dollars less than Tellico4x4.com and Quadratech (29.99 and 39.99 respectively). Which doesn't count shipping from them either. I might see how much they want for a stock exhaust when I pick the seal up tomorrow...
