Who says the stock LiBerty isn't a "real" Jeep when it comes to off-roading?

FYI for those with dial up this is a repost of the liberty that destroys the transfer case on the little hill climb.

What's interesting is the 'jokaroo.com' plastered on the video.

I wonder if they own it.

I don't understand all the excitement over this video. Isn't this about what you'd expect to happen if you were to mistreat your all-wheel-drive minivan this way?

I went into an epileptic seizure from the flashing advertisement next to it before it loades...

all-wheel-drive

ouch!! cold!! cruel!!...funny!!!

Well, anyone who's drvien one, I suppose. We want to see the video of the Liberty doing the Rubicon, that should be rich.

Old post, but I just now saw it and didn't quite believe it. The Liberty isn't going to go where a more capable Jeep will - especially not a (stock) Liberty vs. a (modified) Wrangler - but what it was doing shouldn't have messed it up that bad. What gives? J.

look like "what gives" was the transmission :-)

or more seriously, the transfer case skid plate must be totally inadequate.

well, that's the answer then !

What is the expected durability in the new Grands axles/differentials?

They are listed at the on the 7.9 inch on the front and 8.3 inch on the rear

That is in the new Grands. My '02 has the dana 30/35 combination.
