Fender Flare Recommendations

I've got a "tire sticking way out past my Jeep flares" problem on my TJ and need to solve it relatively quickly. The local Jeep shop is $450+ CDN for flares ($550 for Xenon, and $650 or Bushwhackers). I've found some on eBay for a lot cheaper but they appear to be no-name. The guy here says that he recommends the name brand because they are polyurethane or other hard yet flexible materials that won't snap when you hit one tree. I'm assuming the no-name ones are cheaper because of the poor construction and material.

My other problem is that my tires stick out 7" past the body - I noticed most name-brand ones are 6" (6.5" max) with the exception of a $400 USD WARN flare kit.

My bank account is hurting and I need to save a bit of coin where I can here. I don't do any severe trailing and am not a rock-crawler - I like to play in the mud or light trails. What do you guys recommend?

Thanks!

I do not recommend the Bushwacker Pocket flares. They chalk up severely in short order, despite their false claims of being UV stable. Also, their mounting hardware rusts even on completely garaged vehicles in the Sunbelt.
