Only the 2.4L engines are made in Mexico. The 3.7L and most other major Liberty components are built in US.
55% of the profit goes to German investors. The rest goes to others such as American billionaire Kirk Kerkorian, third largest share holder of DaimlerChrysler.

Nah, he sued D-C because he alleged the Daimler takoever was sold to Chrysler stockholders as a "merge of equals," and then the stock tanked when Daimler purged all the American managers and executives. I think the suit was dismissed, or settled, but I don't remember. Anyway, Kerkorian's holdings in D-C are a drop in the bucket compared to the money he's making building new hotel casinos in Las Vegas and other places...
