Take a close look at the top, it actually hit a window so the lower part was only a stubwall and sill.
Our houses are basically all brick (mine is a mixture of brick and sandstone blocks) with no structural wood in them (ok apart from the roof beams and floor beams). That one looks timber framed with some paper board and a picture of stone on it ? Or does the stubwall consist of bricks as well ?. Glad no-one was hurt - that looks nasty.
