Will a NP231 T-Case from an AX5 tranny bolt to a AX-15 tranny without a mod? THX Scott

No, unless you get real lucky. The input gear/shaft has to be the correct spline count and stickout, to mate with the AX-15's output shaft. Most or all of the NP231s mated to an AX-5 will have the wrong part.

If you don't mind swapping this part, which involves disassembly of the NP231, it is not such a big deal.

Thanks Earle, found the answer anyway. Seems the AX5 NP231 is a 21 spline input verses the 23 spline input for the AX15 NP231. Darn, had a good deal going here.
