I've got a '96 ZJ with 155k on it, I know the owners manual calls for a certain type of oil, but I was wondering what the groups thoughts were on different types of oil for that high of mileage.

Our Cherokee has 310K km on it and we just use regular 10W30. It uses about a liter between changes.

I'm the odd ball. In my 96 xj with 142k miles I use Shell Rotella synthetic
5-40 (blue bottle, Wallmart $12.88 per gallon). Lots of oil pressure and no oil usage.JoBo
