I have 33s and 3.73. I don't use 5th much but it works fine.

I have 4.10 with 33's and I'd hate to think about 3.73... So now you've got both sides of the coin represented... It's a personal preference. td

Hi Chris:

Do you have a manual or automatic transmission? I have an '02 TJ, auto, with 31's and 3.73 gears. It runs at about 2900 RPM's at 70 miles per hour. I would not want 4.10's with a 3-speed auto, but with a stick, they would be great.

Tom

I have 3.73's with 31's and a 5 spd. It's geared very well for all use. The only time I have a real power drop is when I'm aired down for the trail and try to go over 50 on the road. I've been thinking about a 2 1/2" lift and changing to 32's. I'll probably need gears after that. If you have 3.07's now, you will definitely need a change. I don't think 4.10 would be too much, especially if you ever decide to go taller.
