Recent Jeeping

Just wanted to share some pictures of the trail run last Sunday. Here is a link to the first picture. I think you will be able to see the album once there.

Nice articulation on the ZJ. :) I see they replaced the standard Y front steering links with the Z version.

And judging by the tires I'd also think your pump has probably had it. Do check the frame rail where your sterring box is attached, that spot is prone to cracking in some years.

nt steering links with the Z version.

=A0Do check the frame rail where your sterring box is attached,

Those ZJs are among the flexiest of Jeeps. They can sometimes get through a spot without lockers were others with less flex would find it impossible without lockers or some severe vehicle abuse!

Luckily, my frame is holding up and a brace has been added to help keep it that way.

Well, mine is the YJ with spring under lift. It does not flex as much but still makes it through!

You folks look like you had wickedly good time out there! Nice Rigs too! Hey Bill? Do you have any recent photographs of your off road journeys in any of your Jeeps?

Thanks to all for your comments. It was a lot of fun and a learning experience as well (first time on such a tough trial).
