Rockkrawler vs. rubicon express.

Hey group, Just wanted to opinions, I am getting ready to buy a set of coil springs for my tj, I thought about getting the 7" springs from rockkrawler.com for $99 a pair. Someone advised me that RE 5.5" springs would be a better choice and also said people usually get about 7" inches of lift out them, I just wanted to know if anyone is running them and what they think about either product or any other springs they have that would be close. I am currently running a 4" skyjacker set now with coil spacers and a teraflex longarm kit. My springs have gotten pretty tired to say the least. I also was looking at brakelines shocks anyone... Thanks Dan

Dan, you get what you pay for.....cheaper isn't best! The best price on a good product is what your looking for. I don't understand how you are going to put 7" springs on a short arm lift.....the "Teraflex long arm kit" doesn't change the upper arms so the arc the axle turns in is still a short arm lift alignment. The long arms smooth out the bumps....but pushing a 4" lift to 7 inches with springs seems to me not to be the safest thing to do. Have you asked the Manufacturer what they think about doing this?

Sean
