Rust on the frame - Leave it?

Since I never been one to not ask the 'I can't believe this guy is asking this friggin question' questions, here goes:

Looking around the frame in front of the front tires I noticed that there is a decent amount of rust on and around some of the bolts that attached. There is also rust all along the frame in various spots, nothing major however. I have seen this rust before obviously on other vehicles but have never really kept the same care long enough to care. Since I am planning on keeping this one for a very long time, is there anything I should do to the frame or just 'let it go'? Have it blasted and coated or ?

TIA

POR 15. Great stuff and really sets up really hard. They have coatings especially made for frames. Their products stop rust dead. You only knock off the loose rust then apply following their directions to revitalize rusted metal. Pretty easy to work with too.

Good luck

Agree, POR 15. And think about replacing rusting bolts if it's very significant amount of corrosion that's gone on.
