Bill,
Let's go back to your original question. You said "Gerald, I asked for a site that thought as you, and all you did was give me BS! I've never heard of a geared transfer breaking a shaft." I provided those links. You did not ask for a side by side comparison. You get what you ask for.

I get the idea, you don't have a clue about what this sport is about. You think "real Jeeps" are a stock CJ. I don't think that ANY CJ ever came stock with a 400" motor. Did it? NO! What's the difference between us upgrading our Transfer Cases and you dropping in a 400" V-8? REAL JEEP! The original Military Jeep; did it have a V-8? Nope, don't think so. I believe that the Jeepn' craze was founded on the small motor, low gear principal.
Hmmmmm Bill, do you think this goes back to my original statement? Real Jeeps are built not bought. You are only proving this point. I don't see any pics of you doing Hardcore Jeeping in a STOCK CJ. You modify as much as we do. Maybe not the same parts, but you still modify!
You really ought to consider coming off that high horse you THINK you are on and bringing something useful or bringing nothing at all.

Sure I do. But that's not the point. And yes, I know several people who run 35's, a V-8, and the NP231.

:-) Now you can see why I killfiled him.... and, you know... it's been a lot more pleasant reading this group without his sanctimonious "real jeep" crap... For some reason, he thinks that his jeep is better than everyone else's, even though it probably has fewer jeep parts on it than most of the jeeps here. Just do what a few of us have done already. "block sender". Your blood pressure will come down a few points immediately. :-)
It's nt so much that than when he gets into a Vicodin-induceds stupor....
There are many more that have not, though.

Occasionally he is helpful. Not so much lately, tho....
It can't be Bill. Bill would have made it to the top. ;o)
