Check Engine Light 02 Sedona

My Check Engine light came on. I brought the car to the dealer. They told me it has Champion plugs in it which cause the problem. Supposedly "P0301 Cylinder One Misfire". I have never changed the plugs. 24000 Mls driven. So I bought NGK plugs for $88. Looks like a bitch to change. My question before I take the thing apart. Can Champion plugs cause this error? or is it even necessarry to put platinum plugs in it? I appreciate any input!

If you only have 24K miles, then get it fixed under warranty.

What does the manual say for replacement? I haven't looked, but I imagine it is using platinum plugs, which shouldn't need replacing for 60K miles.

I would imagine that you have a defective plug wire rather than a bad spark plug. 24k is a little early to be replacing sparkplugs in my opinion.

Assuming you bought this thing new, I would go back to the dealer and speak to the manager. If you didn't replace the plugs on this thing then tell them to pull a plug and PROVE that it has aftermarket plugs in it.

Isn't this a common problem when you don't tighten the gas cap?
