200tdi Injectors

EveningRight - Bit of background.When my 200tdi has been left overnight, when its started in the morning it runs like shite. Really lumpy. Loads of white smoke pours out of the back until its been running for a bit, then its back to normal again. You can stop it and start it, and it will be fine.My theory is that an injector is leaking over time, and filling a cylinder up with loads of diesel. Once its all gone, its fine.Does anyone know if this theory is possible? Ive been thinking about it today, and this is the only answer i can come up with....Question is, can the be re-cond, and how can i tell which one it is.I dont want to pay £50 + each, if only one is damaged.

originally that was "a pint of water's a pound-and-a-quarter", American pints are only 16fl.oz., ISTR, not 20.
