OK, further to previous post, I might have located a 300Tdi engine. What are the gotchas with fitting one of these?

Good question - dunno. It's at a local(ish) parts place that I only discovered this week. They're asking ?850 for it, including the turbo and pipework (so I guess it's a full engine, but without rads).

not sure if it's the same on 300s. on 200s there's an issue with exhaust manifolds and turbo placement, different on disco/defender. But anything will fit if you try hard enough :-)
