My landy hasn't even moaned now that it's been relegated to housework while I fool around in the country with some foreign hussy! The landy even passed the MOT recently with only a cracked rear fog light to complain about.

Rubbish! My Traveller would *always* refuse to start the day following me going out in the Landy. Occasionally I parked the Landy out of sight of the Trav so it wouldnt see me going out, but I think it heard the Landy start. I could *sometimes* have a quiet word with the Trav before going out in the Landy along the lines of "you wouldnt like where we're going" and get away with it, but usually she'd still sulk and refuse to start the following morning.

Bloody travellers! Tell the News of the World you're having problems with travellers, they'll be round with their "journalists" in seconds..

Driving down past Millau a couple of years back, 'er indoors had had enough of the draught where the timber never quite met the frame behind her left ear and said something like "I hate this bloody car". The Trav *immediately* coughed, caught again, then backfired and stopped. It started again on first turn of the key, but the missus decided we should discuss the matter further once we'd made our destination as we'd forgotten Foreign Cover on the breakdown insurance!

Not really sure that I'm selling him - logically, I have too many vehicles and Edward II is the most likely to raise worthwhile amounts of moolah. But since when did logic have anything to do with it?

There's a pleasing honesty about the series LRs that I don't find in anything else I run except perhaps the BMW R60, and furthermore he's by far the cheapest to keep legal (tax-exempt), although the least good on fuel, of the vehicles I run.
