Didn't take long to get it running then the body work started.

It seems the quarter was professionaly fixed due to accident with out removing the inner panel. Next step will be welding the holes and the stud gun.

I've already removed a cowl from a doner beetle (Same color) and should have most off the body work done in the up comming week.

(problem is the projects are comming in faster then I can get others done)

With all this 'revenue' coming in....I just have to ask....

Have you paid Joan back?

So Mario decided to send me an email. Here it is:

"For what all the parts to finish the beetle with, she paid for them sh got them."

Really? Because after the car was deemed a total loss, I tried to buy some of the parts that were supposed to have been with the car, and the folks I talked to said it was stripped when it left your property.

"She could have driven her beetle just fine and if there was a problem I would have fixed it."

Are you kidding me? That rolling pile of manure was anything BUT road- worthy and drivable.

"She was promised that they would fix her beetle , it was torn apart just to make me look bad."

No, Mario. They tore it apart because it was a piece of shit that you half-assed cobbled together. That car was so far gone it wasn't worth saving.

"My restorations are winning at shows and I'm not getting $25k like most shops to do them."

Okay, sure.

"Before attacking me learn the truth feel free to come to my shop its seems like people like to talk but no one has the balls to talk to me or see the truth."

You'll have to excuse me for disagreeing with you. I don't want to come to your shop, and I saw what happened when the media tried to go bat for Joan. You can't explain that away, can you? Can you explain why I could see sunlight through the floor panels? How about the rust oozing out from under the 'fresh paint'? Or even better, the ill- attempted interior job that was artfully decorated with standing water in the rear seat area and discarded beverage containers floating in said water?

"My shop is still full of work , what more do I have to say"

Say you will pay Joan back. And then do it. Man up and do the right thing for once.

those pictures look similar, but not as bad, as what was under the (much thicker) filler on Joan's car... As Chris said, be a man and pay her what you *owe* her... or just be a liar and theif and don't pay her back.. I'm confident in which choice you will make.

See you believe the lies about it being striped just makes you a sheep, that car went with everything she paid for and more.

its really up to you to get the facts or stay ignorant.

And her beetle was contracted out when she got unreasonable, I tried selling her a rust free car and was told her 74 had to be fixed. I even offered more then once to fix it right at no more cost. nothing more I could do.

*we* have the facts... even though you deny them... facts are, you charged her for work that wasn't done and there are "invoices" to prove it... you claimed the car was "show condition like all my work", and that was not true. you charged her over 9500 bucks for a 199 dollar maaco special. you even forced her to pay more when she wanted her car back, and that was for work that wasn't done. you didn't send "all the parts to finish the car" you actually kept most of them, and you said that in this group. You "contracted" out her car without her knowledge or consent, and you are responsible for the work performed since it was performed under contract to you, and *you* gladly accepted the payments. You owe Joan at least 9400 dollars back...

those are the facts...

That part was true. I've seen pictures of his show condition cars.

Very true, Randy... remember he claimed just today that he's still got cars "winning shows", and also recall the yellow ghia that got the gimme second in class(only two cars in that class) and he claimed that car "won" the show... odd the way he sees things... i could post pics of the quality of that yellow ghia if anyone has forgotten that sub-maaco car...

I sort of remember the ghia. One of those things you just try to forget.

its funny that the biggest whiners don't have any VW worth showing ...like they would have any clue what it takes to restore a car.

if that is the requirements, then you are in the same boat as us.. you own nothing worth a shit, and you've never done a proper restoration. and you continually post links to pictures, apparently bragging(?) that show two things, one, you don't know how to do bodywork, and two, you wouldn't know quality work if someone beat you with it..... I'll take my original car with worn paint and no surprises over a rolling block of rust and bondo any day... is it really that difficult for you to understand that we all don't want a polished turd? your customers might, but those of us that know better, do not...

tell us again how Joan's car was show worthy? tell us abotu your show quality work you put into that.... you claimed it here, before you decided to try and distance yourself from that failed coathanger abortion... amazing how the more the truth came out, the more you started lying and dancing around... typical of a thief and liar.

Just enjoying life and haveing a great time working on many different VW's as always. Hope all are doing about the same.

the kiddy name calling just shows the mantality that this forum doesn't need. But hey if its the only jollys you get ...so be it

I'm still here doing what I love and as I said in the beginning the whinning was going to do nothing. I'm still getting the last laugh. and I'm far from done.

And the losers say........

Mario, look up "atrocious", it is equally accurate for your bodywork and ability to communicate in the written form.

you are getting plenty of laughs. Nearly everyone is laughing at you and your stunning examples of your work you like to post. The only "whinning" all along was from you, on how *you* got the short end when you were stealing money from folks. couldn't be *you* that is wrong, that would be... well... um... wrong...

I know the answer to this one, here it is:

haven't quite stolen enough to retire to the section 8 housing yet?

"Hey, let's let Fairio fix it..........."

Thats what the losers say..........

Mario's doing what he loves. I'm guessing that involves screwing other people over or hiding in the corner of his "shop" jacking off over and over and giggling the entire time.

That just means someone else must be working on it.

Phone calls are probably from collection agencies and probation officers. Possibly bondo salesman.

I see everyday cars win also. They just aren't yours.

Yep, you are the joke of many shops, probably even yours.

Thats because you can't think of a truth.

Bye, adios, don't come back asswipe.

Bob Hoover said it best in his reply to you, "some folks are perfectly happy with a bondoed up piece of shit"... he was right... some are... the folks here, obviously, are not... you are a master of the bondoed up piece of shit, and your pictures are concrete evidence of that....

the post count was looking "bleak" because folks can only stomach looking at the remnants of an abortion a little here and there... throwing up in our collective mouths is not a sport, so folks tend to only click on the occassional link... it's "morbid curiosity" (have someone explain that term to you) and confirmation that you will brag on less than amatuer level work... learn to weld, learn to do bodywork, learn to paint, then you can attack learning to be a man, then you'll pay Jane back... or you can be a lying, hack, sack of shit and not pay her back after robbing her.... We all know which way you will go, folks like you always go that way... until they cross the wrong person.

after you take some paint and body lessons come back and post links.. not the links of the hacked up metal patches with four inch pieces of welding wire sticking through the holes where you failed to properly prep the panel... you make all kinds of rookie mistakes..
