Following Nige's post, I can get AFL the use of the Tong off-road site on Sunday 27th of Sept from 10.00-15.00 for £35 a head. That gives virtually private use of 100 acres of purpose built off road territory :-)
Anyone up for it??

Anyone have Pauls email address? He said he was up for any day/time.
IIRC I have seen him replying to emails sent to his apparent spam trapped address:
"Paul - xxx"

My mate Phil is coming, he can geta few, what sort of numbers do you need? Ill nip round to the bloke with the disco later, see if he is up for it.
About 5 or 6 is fine.
ok
I am a very occasional poster but regular lurker on afl for quite a few years. I first heard about Tong on here from Andy and went on a tryout day with instruction early this year.I have since been on a Payday so I know Beccy and she knows and will vouch for me - I think. If there is room and you agree - I would be interested to come to the afl day on Sun 26/9. I live relatively local so I would just turn up on the day. After many years with an old 300TDi Defender I now have a relatively recent Td5 Defender totally untricked up and on road tyres - and I therefore am very circumspect where I go with it. It would also be nice to meet some of the people whose burblings I read every day. Please let me know if I am allowed to join the inner circle.
Hawkeye
Of course, no worries you would be welcome..
Did I do the instruction on the tryout day? Were you with a chap in Freelander?
Just back from a few days around Ingleborough
Any time there's a bit of "Easy" Green laneing in that area give me a nod PLEASE
As its not TOO far for me ANY day is usually ok , unless I'm doing some marshalling somewhere
Thanks
