Now is that 18C, in which case that is almost to warm for me and I have problems reconciling that with sking. Or 18F = -7C which is rather nippy but at least it's dry at those temperatures.

I'd suspected the diff from day one, in France, when we first heard it, but couldn't hear any bad noises from it rotating by hand. So you were also pretty close with your diagnosis, Lee, thanks.

Couldn't hear a thing or feel anything until it got up to about 10 mph, and under load, so no matter what we did turning by hand we never replicated the 'knock'. Took a sessio with the local 4x4 place on their ramps to definitely pin it down ... and they were all saying that it sounded like it was front, when it was rear! I wish I'd stuck to my gut instincts and dropped the diff out weeks ago, but didn't have time, as per ...

Mind, it runs like a charm everywhere else now ... ;)

At least it's a Rover Diff = simpler to drop ... Santa not thinking ARB by any chance? :-)

I would never go to Disney Paris simply because of the crap weather, much nicer in Florida and there is far more, different, things to see in that central belt of Florida as well. From theme parks to space centers. Tour about a bit and it's very pleasant. Much better than a cold wet Europe...

We did it some years back, as better half won the tickets in a competition. Not a patch on Florida, and the attendants (not 'cast members,' shirley?) even managed a slight surliness that was rather off-putting.

The kids often talk about the Florida trip, but hardly ever about the Paris one.
