Disco 2 - 2002 - Climate Control

After about 4 years I've decided that some illumination would be nice on the switches for the climate control unit ...

Does anyone know if it should have more illuminated items than the display and the two temperature setting switches?

Perhaps it never had any and working by touch alone is the norm - although somehow I doubt it.

I *think* the four below light up through the white legend. It's -3C and 5" of compacted frozen snow out there so I don't feel particularly inclined to go out and have check.

Thanks, Dave. Anything more welcome, when you have a chance. Mine were totally black last night and I can't for the life of me remember if they were ever any different. What you suggest would be more likely than what I see.

You're excused outdoor activity tonight! Absolutely nothing down here in Durham and it's above freezing.

Both rows of four buttons below the LCD display light up through the white legends.

Thanks, Dave.

It can't be one bulb per button: there must be something else with fewer bulbs. Some investigation will be required unless someone already has the answer.

Strangely the illumination to one of the temp. control switches has recently cured itself: perhaps this, too, is something very silly like a dirty connection.

Might not be bulbs but LEDs, quite a lot of the dash illumination, warning lights and other indicators are LEDs.

Try a google?
