I've noticed a few times recently that the auto gearbox in the DII feels to be slipping, very noticeable the other day when cold and trying to reverse up a short slope with car fully loaded it just would not go up and the revs just climbed up. Last night I was out with 5 adults in the car and it seemed very lethargic and 'revvy'.
Most of the time I am in it alone and its not so obvious although it also often judders when holding in D say at traffic lights, moving to N sorts it.
Am I right in thinking this could be the torque convertor on its way out or is likely to be more serious and involve the autobox itself?
