which details how to make a cable to connect the ODBII port to your laptop and then run the EASFaults to get the Fault codes, then EASUnlock to clear and reset the ECU. So once I'd run both programs I came into the house to look up what the problems were. Then I had to move the P38 because it was blocking the drive, and lo and behold the car started to rise like the Phoenix from the Flames!! I've been out and about in it tonight and all appears to be working OK! So so far so good, it just means I'll have to take my laptop with me everywhere I go incase it faults again!
Just a couple of issues now: the aircon problem to sort, I thought it was the shim problem but I can't seem to undo the nut without the front plate turning...but I think it may be the blend motors. Also I suspect the O rings are failing, but I've had a quote of =A380 for a mobile guy who claims he can replace them in 90 minutes without drilling or cutting!! So I'll get him to do both jobs probably..!
Other than that its running lovely, the new engine sounds so quiet until it comes into action, then it just sounds glorious!
