Help! - Advice sought. RR Aircon

Hi Folks:

Following an unscheduled trip to hospital (heart-attack :-S ) I came home to a dead Rangie. Battery flat as the proverbial.

Charged it a wee bit and tried a start-up. As the battery died the BECM issued all sorts of dire warnings about failures. A trip to the local RR specialist has failed to reset the AirCon "Book" and now the Heating/Aircon will not obey commands to blow air anywhere other than at the screen.

Would appreciate any pearls of wisdom the group could bring to bear.

Many thanks in advance.

Dan.

Access is a little tricky..........

Re: "BECM issued all sorts of dire warnings about failures"

Was it just the windows and sunroof messages, which alway come up after a battery disconnection?

See item 4 of the FAQ

I agree. The test book usually gives the warning concerning blend motors. Most resellers will sell 1 or all 3 it up too you and your budget. However if you are replacing 1 you have to take apart most of the center dash and console making anyhow, making my argument to fit 3.

All:

Thank you so much for the tip(s).

Will start looking at it tomorrow.

Sadly it is Not the fuses :-(

Can't see why something should choose to go "pop" just because the battery is a bit weak, but hey-ho.

Thanks again.
