OT- wine recipes

I know this is OT, but do any of you make wine? I'm after a recipe for some blackberry wine as we picked 22lbs yesterday evening and 12lbs and 14lbs on the two previous days. I have made one lot of bramble jelly with the first two lots and will probably do the same with the 22lb, but there'll be easily similar amounts over the next few days and thought I'd have a go at making some wine.

1 litre of juice - actually any juice will do 1 kg of sugar 3 litres of water small packet of yeast Boil water and juice together, add sugar and dissolve, place in 4 litre glass container, stir in yeast when luke warm , put a balloon over the neck of the bottle and release gases every so often or use a bubble filter.

Drinkable in 1 month - well maybe - I was a lot younger and come to think about it I could also see then!! Filter before bottling or drink straight from the 4 litre container whilst sitting on the bonnet of your Landy.

I can turn wine into water...

... or summat like that ;-)

filter.

Landy.

Very similar to a recipe we used in the 80s in Saudi Arabia, but we used a plastic dustbin and a case of fruit juice...

Thanks for that. Went and filled the small frezzer with the last few lots we picked before we went away - 22lbs and 24lbs.
