Right, time to buy some GPS,I've been fantastically busy for the last few months and I herebyspend some of that money...I'm looking for an in-far GPS thingymajig that'll navigate me usingpostcodes, addresses and/or just towns.Will recalculate if I take a different route.Will let me load POI's that other people have compiled (most notablyLPG sellers).Does that funny low-angle graphic thingy rather than just lookingstraight down on a map.That ought to do it, budget of about £500 to £600.Regards.Mark.

Am I right in thinking that to get the full street-level mapping of Europe you would have to go for the 700? Is there a CD available for Europe (street-level) that could go with the 300? (There wasn't when I last researched it, but I got hints that one was on the way.) I can't really see the point of street level for UK and then major roads only for Europe. I can use the major roads all by myself (I can read a Europe road atlas) - it's the little buggers I need the help with. I don't need Bluetooth or a remote.

I didn't even realize it had a different setting for night mode. It really does make it easier to use when it's dark out?

Using a freeware colour style editor you can even easily create your won day and or night colour schemes, match your instrument backlighting etc.

This FREE software add-on has all the LPG (on-court & off-court) as well as many more overlays for all sorts of thingy's (speed cams etc.).

My Rangie runs on LPG and as I drive along this add-on alerts me to all LPG re-fill opportunities along the way.

I may only be getting 11-12 MPG on LPG but it is only 42p.ltr :-) And that's equivalent to 22-24 MPG on Petrol.

As the company pays 23p/mile i am actually running the car for free-ish.

You want to have a moan. Inland Revenue FPCS allows 40p / mile for first 10,000 miles and 25p thereafter. If your employer is paying you less than that you _may_ be able to get some tax allowance for the difference between what they are paying and what it is costing you. Or may not... Of course, the Revenue don't know that you are running LPG!
