Project for sale.

OK, now I've got the new toy, I won't be rebuilding the 110, so does anyone want a 110 CSW project?

basic details:

1985 C plate 3.5 Range rover EFi V8 plus ZF auto, BW transfer box Body pretty good for the age. The driver's door has been cannibalised a bit and will need a replacement interior handle, although you can always open the window and use the outside one :-) Door lock keys missing. The doors are lift-up type and the lock barrels are not the same as the pushbutton ones. Chassis is OK (not good) except the back end, which needs replacing. Either that or rebuild on a new chassis.

Doors are not as bad as some I've seen on newer motors - lift up handle but winding windows. The bottoms of the frames are rusty but the skins are OK, and the frames are not beyond repair.

New front seat covers and foam, middle row and rear seats missing.

There's a set of 4 15" 8-spokes for it, but no tyres on them. It's currently got some crappy tyres on standard rims which might be SWB - I donated the (old) 15" tyres to a young lad to put on an old suzuki for off-roading, on condition that he found me some wheels to put on the 110; wasn't bothered about which wheels or what condition.

I'd done a good part of the work listed as needed for the MOT: including replace swivel bushes, repairs to chassis other than the back end, repairs to bulkhead.

It's running (just moved it across the yard), but has no petrol system installed. I should have all the flapper efi system for it. after charging the battery, it started first time and seems to be running nicely.

It has an open loop LPG system, using OMVL vapouriser. Double-35 petrol tank replacement in the rear, single 45 on driver's side under floor. The double-35 tank cost about 500 quid new, ISTR. I think both tanks are still within test, if that bothers you. It's set up to allow independent use of the 2 tanks, so you use the rear one as main supply and the side one as reserve. They have separate gauges and a changeover switch. There's also a changeover for petrol/gas, but obviously, without a petrol tank that's not much use. It would be possible to put a purpose-built petrol tank in the rear wing, in fact, I should have the one I made for it about the place somewhere, which I never got around to fitting. It's about 1 cu.ft, so would hold about 6 gallons, and will fit under the filler position, using the standard filler. Needs a bracket fabricating to support it.

Offers around 500 quid, I should think. The gas stuff ought to be worth that.
