Quality question.

Has anybody bought rear bench seats from Paddocks? At £25 a set I am tempted but are they as flimsy as they sound as the only other ones i have looked at are £48 a set?

I have 4 sets of solid looking frames would I be better off getting new squabs and backs and fitting them myself?

Yes I got them in Percy, They are OK but hardly rocket science. I'd fit new cushions as you've already considered. Lots of on on line foam suppliers out there.

none of them are much cop. Have a word with BLRS, see if they'll sell you just the cushions and not the seats? Or other seatmaker of choice.

the rear bench seat is vary basic and flimsy, and relies on being installed in a vehicle to give it the necessary strength.

We can do the cushions only - no price at present (they forgot to put the upholstery on the price list!). Mail me if you'd like us to quote.

fair enuff. I thought BLRS deserved a small plug as they were kind enough to make me a 4' bench seat trimmed in discovery blue velour a bit back. And very successful it is to, I may say. Anyone with a requirement to carry and extra anklebiter in a disco, in forward facing seats, apply here :-)
