Not the cheapest venue by a long way, at £30 a vehicle. I think its worth every penny tho, as I been going for ages and still havent done the same bit twice. As for tyre choice, dont sweat it - there's plenty go there in Paj's and those Vauxhall thingies with road tyres! Love to be goin with you all but in France that week

AT's on a competent vehicle with a sensible driver will take you a

*very* long way off road without trouble - certainly a lot further than an idiot in a vehicle with no low-down torque will get on MTs.

'swot I run, BFG AT's and they're pretty damn good. Didn't stop me going anywhere I wanted .. though with seven on board I must admit to not tackling the worst axle twisters ... ;)

Thing is, even if you do get stuck (we did once) there's so many people about you'll soon get pulled out .. or a quick squawk on the CB and a marshall with a crane will come ... I, thankfully, didn't suffer the embarassment of needing the crane or Haflinger .. ;)
