hi . will the old style steel rims as fitted to early range rovers take 7.50x16 tyres . if so and by fitting these to an LR90 300tdi will the speedo reading be affected by much ?.
i see in manual that the 90 takes 205x16 or 7.50x16 tyres but do they use same gear? in the speedo cable take off on the r380 box .
i think that im right in thinking 7.50x16 tyres are bigger in diameter than
205x16 , i want a little more clearance under my axles than the 205x16 allows and wondered if fitting 7.50 tyres as opposed to 205 types will give me a little more clearance .of course then with the extra height>diameter i wonder if i will need to do anything to correct the speedo side of things .
