Sureterm direct breakdown cover - problems

How do they feel about a home-made steam-roller conversion to the rear axle.... ;-)

I changed to them from Frizzel and saved £40 but it wasn't worth it because along with the saving came a reduction in cover and limited mileage. They later sent me a letter saying as my cotreon insurance was due soon would I like a quote? which caused me to piss myself laughing that's the worst spelling of Citroen I've ever seen.

No, that's the worst spelling of Mitsubishi you've ever seen.

Been trying to find out if it has to have seatbelts fitted, and by 'eck, the regulations are difficult to read.

I have decided it can have black number plates, so a nice set of pressed ally black and silver have duly been orderd from this lot:

dunno how they get round the rules, but they'll supply any plates, including up to date ones. I suspect they're all "show plates" "not for road use", or something. Some of them obviously are, which doesn't of course stop people.

Interesting point, I am with the RAC in addition to my insurance cover with inter partner assistance (whoever they are)

When I called the RAC out on Christmas day to extract me from the hedge, they told me that I may well have to foot the bill myself if it involved lifting as that isn't covered by the regulations, however in the event they did not charge. I suppose that was down to the discretion of the garage that actually handles the call out.

The RAC on the other hand give you a discount if you don't call them out over the year. In fact I still got a reduction this year even though I did, maybe I am just a lucky sod.

Just for info - i have changed to Firebond - it cost me the same as Sureterm but it's fully comp not TPFT and the breakdown cover is ok if it's got a truck cab - cos i asked!
