Can anyone tell what brand of automatic transmission there is on the foto's? I also like to know if the transferbox is a (part of) the LT95. And last but not least: can the transferbox easily be replaced by a LT230 transferbox.
All this is in a '76 Range Rover and obviously it's not the original transmission (although the transferbox might be :-)).

The LT95 is the 4-speed manual box and IIRC includes the t-box. The auto transmission if it's an early rangie should be a Chrysler A727 3-speed, which would agree with the shifter. The HBOL is not specific but the few pictures in there show a T-box that looks like an LT230 attached to the back of the auto box.
The shifter in your pictures doesn't look like the one in the HBOL, although that's not necessarily conclusive. Your pictures may show a LT230, it's not entirely clear; if so I'd expect a chrysler box 'cos I imagine that fitting a different one to the t-box is more hassle than it's worth.
I'm not sure when they first did auto rangies.
