V8 sump

Hi all,Have just removed the sump from our 3.9 Disco cos it was leaking round thejoint where it bolts to the block.It doesnt have a gasket and is sealed with a silicone type stuff.Shall I put a cork gasket on or should I repace it as it is, with justsealant?ThanksRichard

it does the same on lpg as well as petrol so it must be something common to both systems Richard
