Not strictly LR related but an adventure none the less.



Ewan McGregor and his chum Charlie take two Motorcycles from London to New York via "The Road of Bones" amoungst other places. There are a few chapters where the support crew are involved on the road of bones crossing completely washed out road with a River running through it. Some Geezers going the otherway in what looked like a Zil aborted and reversed back when they got stuck.



Well worth sticking on your Chrimbo list and I'm not a massive fan of Motorbikes but would love to do summat like this.

I have seen it too, it's bloody ace. I was quite impressed with the fording abilities of the 'shogun' Mind you, then that big f*ck off Russian rocket launcher went through the river as if it where a puddle with the Shogun in the back ISTR!!

Very good TV.

See if you can get "Mondo Enduro" four teachers did the same thing tho they slept in tents and did if for IIRC 4 grand, and without all the flunkies. They also did the whole trip rather then miss bits out.

Seen bits of it on the sky channels... Discovery or somthing similar. Another excellent documentary and again looked to be a fantastic adventure.
