Either the coolant level is low or the sensor is faulty. Check the level, if it is OK replace the sender (it's in the reservoir cap) or short the two wires out to bypass it. (You'll probably want to do the latter after you've found out the cost of a new one...)

It means a low flying aircraft is lodged in your radiator - the owners manual explains how to dislodge it.

Or it means you need to top up your radiator.

Its probably the sensor in the cap which is at fault (assuming you have water in!). When ours went wrong on our old Range Rover I bought a Vauxhall (GM) one which is the same but cheaper. I think it was one for a Carlton Richard
