Hi all, i have an annoying problem on my ASTRA which , as winter is approaching is rearing its head again.
I am unable to stop the windows on this car from misting up as soon as it's even slightly damp outside, and when its raining its so bad, i'm using a squeege on the windows every minute or so to clear them.
I have tried cleaning and drying all the windows with a chamois to no effect, heater/demist settings seem to have little effect and the only way i seem to be able toclear them is by keeping the sun roof open (in the rain ???) , its almost as if there's no flow through ventilation. I have checked that the vent in the boot is clear and the only other think i noticed was that when i operate the console switch which controls flow through or recirculated air the light does'nt come on (but then again, neither do half the heater control lights on the car), is this switch fused ?.
Anyone have any ideas ???, there's air coming out the demist slots ok , but the Windscreen and the rear window mist up in minutes regardlessof what heat/blower settings i use.
Any suggestions as to curing this would be very much appreciated
Thanks in advance
Graham
