airbag warning light

Hi,

I've just come back from holiday and whilst driving my two month old vehicle the airbag warning light has come on. I'm taking it straight to the dealer tomorrow. What could it be? The car had been stationary in the garage for 10 days. I'm a bit pissed off this is happening with a new car.

Thks,

From the fact that the airbag light came on I suspect that there is a fault with the airbag/pre-tensioner system!

These things happen, especially on new cars. Give them a chance to check it out and deal with the fault.

It is probably an easy thing to cure.

Alan

Loads of reasons, they're inherently fussy systems at warning of faults , most of the time it's something trivial.
