Battery pack jump starters

You sure about that? I managed to kill the 12v 'starter' battery in a mkII Prius. (I know it's not really a starter and just powers up the ECU)

Eh?

You undo one clip, lift the lid... pull up a red (hinged) plastic cover and you're there.

Are you the new D i m, making a fecking massive mountain out of a tiny mound of earth?

That's not an Anderson Powerpole, it's an Anderson SB. There are several different sizes based on current, for example:

You'd have to measure it to work out what size it is. Theo

the most likely would be leaving parking lights on, or some sort of parasitic load (dashcam, phone charger etc.)

Nothing plugged in at all. It was only a couple of years old, with about

30k miles on it and still under warranty.

Never found out what caused it - all I can say was it was parked up for nearly 3 weeks whilst I was working from home and then on holiday.

The hybrid was also flat, but then it was down to virtually nothing when I parked it and they should have a lot of reserve left even if you do that.

(I'm going back to Toyota / Lexus hybrid in 2020, by the looks of things

- probably an ES300h)

Thanks Theo.

Just been to my local auto electrical suppliers place (Ribblesdale Auto Electrics in Preston) with my existing one in hand and they sorted it for me.
