Brakes

Have a 91 ford sierra hatch 1600,problem thats gradually getting worse is the brakes feel grabby on the front end,i say this as this pads+discs were changed about 5000miles ago with no problems since then i have removed the caliper twice due to intermittant sticking cleaned sliders etc, when braking fairly hard it seeme as the os/f wheel is about to skid or juddery through the pedal and it hasn't got abs, also first thing in the morning the brakes grind then fine after a couple of times,is this a sign of the caliper seizing?

Simon.

The discs can get a fine covering of rust overnight in this sort of weather, and this can cause them to grab on the first application.
